Null point was a project Graham started in 2017 in which he was exploring Zines as a medium for his work. It was spawned from countless conversations with fellow artists and friends who were looking for some way to express without criticism.
Looking through Zines Graham thought it seemed the main theme of them was catharsis and that realistically as adults we often get forget that we have permission to express or create and the level of help that can bring to someone. So he began curating and creating Null Point the concept Zine.
The concept is very simple. It’s A6, black and white to keep costs down and essentially anonymous. People are open and free to submit work as they wish on a topic set bi-monthly and in doing so explore their creativity. It is then curated and published into the Null Point Zine.
It’s published without names, e-mails, hashtags or links it’s simply put into the world as an expression and an exercise in creation. As such it also entirely funded, printed and assembled by Graham and he makes no profit on it because at the end of the day it is other peoples ideas and creation and the zine is just a vehicle for them expressing that.
Currently in 2022 there are 30 issues of Null Point and it has travelled all round the UK and to zine fairs in the US and Canada. With one simple message “This is not about you”.

“Everything within an issue says something, something about its creator, their situation and their thoughts and feelings on their world at hand. However at the same time they are unknown, they are hidden and so the message is unattached and interpretative allowing it to be accessible for all.
You may hate it, you may love it but in the end it is just what it is, an expression, a null point.”
